Paper filings, at least for business entities that have the option to file online, include an additional $15 paper filing fee. The South Dakota Secretary of State no longer requires original signatures on documents. They’re going paperless for most business entities (except nonprofit corporations and a few others). So we do not have to sign your forms as your registered agent.

- Minnesota: $15
- Nebraska: $10
Online filing is available for select business entities at the South Dakota Secretary of State website. You can make filings in person or by mailing the forms and a check payment to the South Dakota Secretary of State. Annual reports can now be filed online. A postcard with the login information will be sent to you 30 to 60 days before the due date.
